#Fact behind JPCC Quote - Le Petit Prince

“It is only with the heart that one can see rightly; what is essential is invisible to the eye." – The Fox’s secret from ‘The Little Prince’

The above line popped up in my mind and took me back to memory of last month Sunday sermon in my church. A simple sentence yet hard to understand the meaning. I honestly still open my heart to fully understand and live the meaning of believing the unseen.

Recently, I know that heart-warming quote is taken from a French story book for kids

The book I talked is "Le Petit Prince" (English: The Little Prince) which was the famous work of its author; Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

But, back to thousands year ago, the phrase with similar but deeper meaning had already been written as the Holy Scriptures in a book I’ve known (but sometime forgotten) since I was kid.

 “2 Corinthians 4:18” – The Apostle Paul’s letter from ‘The Holy Bible’

So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 

                          

A good flashback for the beginning of week in April

Everyone has different trials in life. And no one is able to see what will happen next; a week later or even an hour later. Whatever it is, how hard it burdens you… Your story has not ended yet. There is more to your story. Hold on, set your anchor of hope, and stay firm since what is essential is invisible to the eye.

What can make someone endure and stay firm on a stormy life?

Hope.

What can make the hope is everlasting for something that’s even invisible to the eye?

Faith.

A lesson to be learned in this month. Faith.

For we live because of believing, not because of seeing

Let me share you a truth about Faith

Faith does not deny the reality. 
The faith is not denial

If We are sick, say...
We are sick, we are not healthy
If You are single, say...
Yes, I have not married yet

Faith sees your problems, your hardships, your trials
Faith sees the reality
But at the same time,
Faith sees the solutions

Yes, we are sick
But, I have been receiving that healing in the name of Jesus.
Yes, I am single
But, I won't be single forever. He is God who provides at the best time.

We know the reality
But, We do NOT give up on the reality
Because We have that faith
That faith that lay on Jesus
